This is a new movement among Quakers to reach out and to introduce others to the Quaker way. Quaker Quest has swept across the United Kingdom and is well underway in the Delaware Valley and beyond.
If you are looking for a new spiritual pathway, the personal experience of today’s Quakers may seem right for you. Through Quaker Quest, Quakers with diverse backgrounds and experiences share stories of their own spiritual journeys.
Quaker Quest sessions are open to all and are offered weekly at the same time and place. Participants explore a different topic at each session. Several topics are offered in a series.
All gatherings are casual, friendly and free. Topics may be repeated to accommodate busy schedules.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Quaker Quest is a series of informal presentations and discussions, with opportunities to meet new people and experience the unique Quaker worship, based on gathered, expectant silence.
WHO MAY ATTEND?
Everyone is welcome!
WHERE ARE THE SESSIONS?
In the spring of 2010, four Quaker meetinghouses are offering this program: in Haverford, Abington, Media and Center City at 4th and Arch.
